Terms & Conditions

Welcome to US Parcel Link. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and transportation, freight, pickup, delivery, and logistics services. By requesting a quote, booking a shipment, or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. General Terms

  • Customers must provide accurate and complete shipment, pickup, delivery, and contact information.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a shipment that cannot be safely, legally, or reasonably transported.
  • These Terms may be updated from time to time. The current version published on our website will apply to future shipments.

2. Shipping Quotes & Charges

  • All shipping quotes are based on the information provided by the customer at the time of quotation.
  • Quotes may be adjusted if the actual shipment differs from the information provided, including weight, dimensions, freight class, pickup or delivery location, accessorial requirements, or other shipment conditions.
  • Additional charges may apply for services such as liftgate service, residential delivery, limited access locations, inside delivery, appointment delivery, storage, re-delivery, address correction, detention, or other carrier-imposed fees.
  • Unless specifically stated otherwise, quoted transportation charges do not include taxes, customs duties, storage, or additional accessorial charges.

3. Pickup & Delivery

  • Pickup and delivery dates and times are estimates unless specifically confirmed as guaranteed service.
  • Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, mechanical issues, carrier schedules, terminal operations, inspections, or circumstances beyond our control.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that pickup and delivery locations are accessible to the carrier and suitable for the shipment.
  • Additional charges may apply when special equipment or services are required.

4. Shipment Information

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information regarding:

  • Shipment description
  • Weight and dimensions
  • Quantity
  • Pickup and delivery addresses
  • Contact information
  • Special handling requirements

Incorrect or incomplete information may result in additional charges, delays, or re-routing.

5. Freight Handling & Packaging

  • Shipments must be properly packaged, secured, and prepared for transportation unless packaging services have been specifically arranged.
  • The customer is responsible for protecting the shipment against normal handling and transportation conditions.
  • We may refuse improperly packaged, unsafe, prohibited, or undeclared shipments.

6. Auto Parts & Vehicle Components

For auto parts, engines, transmissions, body panels, and other vehicle components:

  • Parts must be properly drained, secured, packaged, or palletized where required.
  • Fluids, hazardous materials, batteries, fuel, and other regulated materials must be properly declared before shipment.
  • The customer is responsible for complying with applicable transportation and packaging requirements.
  • Special handling or equipment charges may apply depending on the size, weight, and condition of the shipment.

7. Tracking & Delivery Confirmation

  • Tracking information is provided when available from the applicable carrier.
  • Tracking updates are dependent on carrier systems and may not appear immediately.
  • A shipment marked as delivered by the carrier will be considered delivered unless a timely delivery dispute or damage claim is submitted.
  • Customers should inspect shipments promptly upon delivery.

8. Damage, Loss & Shortage Claims

  • Customers should inspect shipments at the time of delivery whenever possible.
  • Visible damage or shortage should be noted on the delivery receipt or bill of lading before signing.
  • Concealed damage should be reported as soon as it is discovered.
  • Claims must be submitted with supporting documentation, photographs, delivery documents, and any other information reasonably requested.
  • Claims are subject to the applicable carrier’s rules, tariffs, and liability limitations.
  • We do not guarantee payment of a claim where the carrier determines that damage resulted from inadequate packaging, improper loading, prohibited materials, or other circumstances for which the carrier is not responsible.

9. Cancellations & Shipment Changes

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted before the shipment is dispatched or otherwise committed to transportation.
  • Once a shipment has been picked up, dispatched, or entered into the carrier network, cancellation may not be possible.
  • Customers may be responsible for transportation charges, carrier cancellation fees, storage charges, return freight, or other costs resulting from a cancellation or change.
  • Address changes after dispatch may result in additional charges and delivery delays.

10. Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is refused, the delivery location is inaccessible, the address is incorrect, or delivery cannot be completed for reasons attributable to the customer:

  • Additional transportation or re-delivery charges may apply.
  • Storage charges may apply.
  • Return-to-origin transportation charges may apply.
  • The customer remains responsible for applicable charges associated with the shipment.

11. Prohibited Shipments

We reserve the right to refuse shipments containing prohibited, illegal, undeclared, hazardous, or improperly packaged materials. Customers must disclose any hazardous or regulated material before booking transportation.

12. Payment

  • Payment terms must be agreed upon before transportation services are provided.
  • Customers are responsible for all approved transportation charges and applicable additional fees.
  • Failure to make payment when due may result in suspension of services or collection of outstanding amounts.
  • Any disputed charge should be brought to our attention promptly with supporting documentation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, US Parcel Link will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from transportation delays, missed appointments, business interruption, lost profits, or other indirect damages.

Transportation liability may be subject to the applicable carrier’s tariff, bill of lading, service terms, and applicable federal or state law.

14. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, accidents, road closures, government actions, strikes, labor disruptions, carrier interruptions, mechanical failures, or other unforeseen events.

15. Third-Party Carriers

Shipments may be transported through third-party carriers, freight companies, brokers, or logistics partners.
