Cancellation & Refund Policy
This is another one I’d make very clear, especially because you are dealing with freight that may already have been dispatched or picked up.
Effective Date: Sep 14, 2026
At US Parcel Link, transportation arrangements may involve carriers, terminals, equipment, pickup appointments, and other third-party services. For this reason, cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the stage of the shipment.
1. Cancellation Before Processing
A customer may request cancellation before transportation arrangements have been processed. If approved, a refund may be issued to the original payment method, subject to any applicable payment processing or administrative charges.
2. Cancellation After Processing
Once a shipment has been processed, scheduled, assigned to a carrier, or otherwise committed for transportation, cancellation may result in charges.
The customer may be responsible for:
- Carrier cancellation fees
- Pickup cancellation fees
- Administrative charges
- Storage charges
- Transportation charges already incurred
- Other non-refundable third-party charges
Any remaining refundable amount will be determined after applicable charges are deducted.
3. Cancellation After Pickup
Once freight has been picked up or entered into the carrier’s transportation network, cancellation may no longer be available. The shipment may instead need to be returned or redirected.
The customer may be responsible for:
- Original transportation charges
- Return freight
- Re-routing charges
- Storage
- Re-delivery
- Carrier cancellation charges
- Other applicable fees
4. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution. A refund issued by US Parcel Link may take additional time to appear on the customer’s account after processing.
5. Non-Refundable Charges
Third-party transportation charges and services already performed may not be refundable.
Examples may include:
- Pickup charges
- Carrier booking charges
- Cancellation charges
- Storage
- Re-delivery
- Return transportation
- Special handling
- Accessorial services
- Other charges already incurred
6. Refused Deliveries
Refusing delivery does not automatically cancel transportation charges.
If a shipment is refused or cannot be delivered because of the customer’s actions, the customer may be responsible for return freight, storage, re-delivery, or other applicable charges.
7. Address Changes
Customers should notify US Parcel Link as soon as possible if a delivery address needs to be changed. Address changes after dispatch may result in additional charges and may delay delivery.
8. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If a customer is charged more than once because of a confirmed payment processing error, the duplicate amount will be reviewed and, when verified, refunded.
9. Disputed Charges
Customers should contact US Parcel Link before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so that the issue can be reviewed and resolved where possible.
A payment dispute does not cancel transportation charges or other contractual obligations that have already been incurred.
10. Refund Requests
Refund requests should include:
- Customer name
- Order or shipment number
- Payment reference, if available
- Reason for the request
- Supporting documentation
Requests should be submitted to:
Email: info@usp-link.com
Business Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST
All cancellation and refund requests are reviewed according to the shipment status, services already performed, third-party charges incurred, and applicable law.
